Mary's little wooden donkey accompanies the family on their way to Bethlehem.

Ox and donkey stand near the crib in the stable with the newborn baby and warm it with their breath.

The size of the donkey (small) is around 7.5 cm.

Alder, birch or maple wood, carefully bevelled and polished, hand-painted and protected with precious natural paint, shellac and oils.

Sehr geehrtes Buntspechte -Team,

Ihre Holzfiguren gefallen mir sehr gut! Im letzten Jahr habe ich sie
erst entdeckt und dann eine Weihnachtskrippe für meine Tochter und die
Enkelkinder zusammengestellt.

Jetzt möchte ich mir selbst auch eine Freude gönnen und mir eine
Weihnachtskrippe zusammenstellen. Einige Figuren habe ich schon
gesammelt, jetzt fehlen mir noch der Hirtenjunge mit der Flöte, ein
Schäfer, der Ochse und evtl. ein Stall (von den kleinen Weihnachtsfiguren).
