A pair of reindeer

At a customer request, our roebuck and doe became a pair of reindeer.

The physionomy differs in real of course clearly. Through the colorful painting it is

a passable similarity of these two animal species, and we all like them very much here.

In Northern Europe, Russia and also in Canada, reindeer are kept as farm animals.

The large herds move along their natural migration routes through forests and mountains, while people follow them.

In Lapland in the north of Norway, Sweden and Finland, the Sámi people still live today and are still traditional reindeer herders.

The tips of the ears reach a height around a little more than 10 and 12.5 cm.
